Today in choir we went caroling and were gone for half the day. It was really enlightening and it made me feel like an amazing person just thinking, I may have just made their year or day…and that for some this may be there last Christmas so it was really heart touching. The second person we caroled for made me feel special when she requested for another and the last two told us, Me, Nita, Cindy, and Keri, that we had beautiful voices and I was the last one out of the room and one of them said I had the voice of an angel and it hit me that, that had been the last thing my grandma said to me before she died…
Though through this merriment came disaster. When we got to the second nursing home we got stuck with a group we just could not shake. They would laugh hysterically if we messed up and even made fun of some of the seniors saying things like, man these old people are stupid. It really pissed me off and she didn’t listen. We were supposed to ask permission before singing and she just sang, even when the person said no! But other then that I had a lot of fun, even though me and my friends ate so much we nearly puked! xD
